What are the common methodes for self-sponsoring?

• Mochi Ads only
• CPMStar exclusive
• CPMStar non-exclusive and later Mochi-Ads and Mochi-Distribution

Mochi Ads only

The simplest form of self sponsoring. The developer places Mochi-Ads in his game and uses the Mochi-Media-Distribution-Feed to distribute the Game.
Some Publishers do not like the very intrusive Mochi-Pre-Game-Ads and do not allow them on their sites. In contrast to that there are Publishers only using the Mochi-Feed (and other feeds) to populate their Arcade sites. Feeds can save publishers alot of time.

CPMStar exclusive

The developer agrees with CPMStar to only publish a version with CPMStar Ads. No other Ad-Networks are allowed here. This also means you cannot use the Mochi Feed in this case. In return you get 50% + 15% = 65% revenue share instead of 50% + 10 % = 60%.

CPMStar non-exclusive and later Mochi-Ads and Mochi-Distribution

First you release a non-exclusive CPMStar Version and after a few weeks a Mochi-Version of the Game. So you can combine benefits of both Ad-Networks and also utilize the Mochi-Distribution.

Epic Game Ads for Developers the Newcomer

With Epic Game Ads a new Network is entering the ring. There is no exclusive Epic release necessary which means you can release Epic and Mochi Versions of the same game. The payouts are good, at least as good as with Mochi or CPMStar. The Ad payout is performance based. The ECPM depends on the geo of the players and the performance of the banners. United States, UK, Germany, Australia and Canada pays best with 1$-2.5$ ECPM. World traffic is around 0.1-0.25 $ ECPM.
Depending on your traffic mix and the performance you should be getting 0.3-0.7 $ ECPM. In my experiment i was able to get a ECPM of 0.6 - 0.7 $ with 20-40% Tier 1 Traffic.

You should try out Epic Game Ads for developers. If you wanna be on the save side distribute a Mochi-Version via the Mochi-Feed and the Epic Version with the TA-Gamefeed and the FGD.
